Austin Education has been in business since 1999
serving Waller, Austin, Harris, Colorado and adjacent counties.
While serving as a probation officer for Waller
County, Brad noticed the number of referrals to his department continued
to increase. Brad recognized the need for alcohol and drug services/education for teens.
In 1999, while still working as a probation officer,
Brad Austin started Austin A&D
(alcohol and drug) Education to educate youth about the dangers
of using drugs and alcohol and to address the needs of the Waller
County community. He implementated education services to juveniles
in the Waller County community, and witnessed the number of referrals
significantly decrease. So much so, that he expanded services to
youth and adults in other areas. The company continues to grow and
now includes many family related and counseling
services and is now simply called Austin Education ("AE").
The goal is to continue to grow and educate youth as well as adults
to make responsible decisions which positively impact their lives.
